From The Studio…
Just a quick update on the upcoming album… Studio work is continuing to go well. I am mastering most of the songs now and am beginning to piece together the ways in which I will get the music into your hands (or computer). ITUNES and NoiseTrade are going to be the two ways of digitally downloading the album. I am also working on album cover design…and am taking artwork submissions! If you are interested…follow the link for “contact” and contact me via email and we can discuss themes etc. I would love to collaborate with you on this. There are so many parts that make up the finished product of an album. Years have gone into crafting these songs. Every piece of the album, from songs to artwork, make up an integral part of expressing the true characteristics of this album as I have envisioned it. It really is a very unique and cool experience when the pieces begin to line up and fit together. I cannot wait to share this project with you all. Please keep checking back for updates. On The Road…
Hey Everyone,
Studio work has been awesome! Some cool tunes being cranked out and will be available for download and purchase soon. I will be heading out on the road for the remainder of the week to get some live recordings and to start sharing some of this new music. I will be in Florida for the week doing some music at a college. Traveling for music is one of my favorite things to do- it is so awesome to be able to do this and share my music with new people…especially when I get to travel to warmer climates! Keep checking back for videos updates from travel and LIVE portions of the weekend. See you on the road.

In The Studio…
Hey Everyone… I thought I would write a quick update on the new album. Studio work has been going well. I have been experimenting with what type of sound I will be using on the new album. For me, a huge part of the writing and arrangement process happens at the LIVE shows. I can get a feel for how the crowd is responding to the songs and can do some experimenting on the fly. I have had some great opportunities to take some of these songs for a ‘test drive’ in the recent weeks. Since so much of my live show is acoustic, I have decided to go with an acoustic based sound for my recordings as well. I rely on my Martin for the basis of my recordings and then branch out from there. I am using a Taylor T5 for some jazz tones and electric tones to layer in. Keys and Synths are also making there way onto the recordings as well. I am looking forward to releasing these songs on CD very soon. The songs will be available to listen to on this website before the album is released in the near future. There will be a variety of ways to download the album. The album will be available on ITUNES and noisetrade.com. Keep checking back for updates. Thanks for your support. -Ryan
